Gmail Chrome Web App for Accessing Emails Offline

Google has released yet another awesome web app to their Chrome web apps store. This time it’s Gmail Offline beta for accessing Gmail messages in offline mode without internet connection. This HTML5 based Chrome app once granted access to cache email messages for offline viewing lets you disconnect from internet and continue drafting or composing.

Talking about the user interface it is the same email focused experience you can see on Tablets. Google even introduced this UI as a Gmail labs theme recently. This is very useful for Chromebooks as you can’t install other third-party apps on it to enable offline access. With Gmail Offline Beta Chrome app installed you can mail, reply, search and archive without network access. And each time you go online this Chrome app will automatically synchronize messages. Once after installing Gmail Offline Chrome app, open a new tab in Chrome and you will see a Gmail Offline Icon. Click on the icon to load Offline Gmail and go offline.
If you don’t want to install scripts or other add-ons on Firefox, Chrome and want a simple, fast and email focused experience then Gmail Offline Chrome app is the way to go.
